The Terrible Plays, created by Sam Fidler, are a series of absurdist micro plays that have been described as “poems written in the medium of stage direction”. Each micro play is between 30 seconds and two minutes long.
The Great Boston Rat War, written by Jael Whitney Brothers tells the tale of the 100+ year "war on rats" in Boston… from the perspective of the rats! This play invites viewers to rethink who deserves access to public resources, and provides some insights into how the political process has historically worked in Boston.

Every week, six animals on a small family farm gather to share stories, settle disputes, and chat about changes they’d like to see in their daily lives. With the arrival of new, mysterious, buzzing boxes in the trees, alliances shift, life on the farm is thrown into question, and these once casual weekly meetings quickly become serious. As the shadowy underbelly of the Johnson Family Farm comes to light, will this motley crew of animals be willing to face it?

Private Investigator Lee digs into their biggest case yet: their own gender! Accompanied by the incredible Goddamn Brass Band, they go through all the evidence (including songs Lee wrote in high school) and explore how their relationship with their voice has changed since they started taking testosterone. Lee dives into the silly, emo, and cringey music from their first puberty to find out what it can teach them about their second one and about learning to love the past versions of yourself.
